Piano

I am happy to teach beginner or intermediate piano students. If this is your first lesson ever, or you’re coming back after a break, I’d love to help explore music through the piano.

Piano is a wonderful first instrument for children just expressing an interest in music. As every child is different, I don’t have a minimum age, but in general children 5 and over tend to get more from individual lessons.

Flute

Flute is a wonderful option for older children wanting to prepare for high school band, or learn a more unique instrument.

I recommend children be at least 10 to start flute lessons as this allows their hands and lungs to be big enough to be successful. But if you have a younger child interested, reach out. Everyone is different

Lifelong Music

Music lessons are not just for children! Many adult beginners and re beginners (someone who took lessons in the past and took a 10+ year break) love gaining skills on the piano or flute.

Ask me about spaced out lessons. If I can find a buddy to take your other lesson times, I offer biweekly or monthly lessons for adults. This makes it less of a time commitment and gives you more time to practice between lessons.
